just got sat on the sofa with a brew, and next think heard a kind of plunk plink noise, looked down, and ermmmm my mobile had just dropped in my brew and there was a stream of bubbles rising in it ...... thankfully it's not my new (bargain £9.99 from t mobile) one ...... but as i haven't got the new one unlocked yet, or transferred the numbers over, i currently have one knackered phone, and one i can't use cos theres no numbers in it ...... grrrrrrrrrrrr.

My mobile did a full wash cycle in the pocket of my jeans, ruined the sim card but the phone still works, I dried it out slowly for a couple of days..... What Bride says. Take the back off, take the battery out. If you haven't got an airing cupboard, wrap it in a tea towel and sit it on the mantelpiece above the fire, face down so that the steam rising is comin out of the phone, not turning to condensation. It might be a bit sticky (you have sugar in tea don't ya?) but it should function enough to get the numbers etc off it.
