Try a hairdryer on cool to dry it out. When you sort out your new phone, remember to save everything to SIM.

It doesnt matter what I do to mine, it wont die...........I have thrown it, put it in water, left it behind in soil, left it overnight on workbench in shed.........left it outside when really cold, let chi's play with it. I HAVE a new one on its way as OH is sick of me moaning.

I don't care about the mobile I have now it cost £20 including £10 of credit I've had it over 13 months & still have 31p of original credit left I've topped it up with another £10 that should last me this year.

Could have been worse Lynda. I was reading a quote from Cheryl Cole (Girls Aloud) & she said when she (Cheryl) dropped her mobile in the toilet Nicola (Girls Aloud also) put her hand in for her & fished it out! Cheryl said 'that's friendship, she put her hand in my wee to get it out, I wouldn't have done that for her!'

Hi Lynda! Didnt you know, mobile phones like to have a drink now and then I once droped one of my phones it did the same as yours, landed in my drink! only difference was, my phone was an alcaholic phone! (It's been in rehab on the wagon since! lol) It landed upright on its end in my glas of vodka and tonic! I dried it off with a cloth then let it dry out, it was a bit sticky for a while but is still working now, although I don't use that one much as had an upgrade since!

                              Hiya Lynda,

The Gadget Show on Ch5 are always soaking gadgets. It's amazing how much mis-treatment they can handle. I would remove the battery cover and battery and leave the phone in a warm place for a few a day or two. It should still work <fingers crossing>
