My Job title is Grounds Officer or Groundsman and I used to belong to the Institute of Groundsmanship. Please don't mention the sexist aspesct, I caused quite a stir with the organisation when my daughter picked up on it many moons ago!!!
Been called quite a few things (especially from tresspassers) but never a grounds-keeper..... Has a certain ring to it though I must admit

Buy a lawnmower with a roller on the back...go back and forward up and down the lawn..its only the knapp of the grass that gives it the striped effect. If you want a green tartan effect, just go in two directions at 90 degrees to each other.Originally posted by OverWyreGrower View Post
