I was awake at 2 this morning, and it was snowing quite heavily, but by the time I got people up at 6.30 it was begining to melt. We've had rain, sleet, snow and sun since then Now there's just a few icy patches about.

I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

We had a little overnight here too. It's been sunny but cold all day, and has now frozen solid. Local lanes are like wet glass now.

Yup I agree. A good long cold snap kills off a load of germs.

A good sprinkling of snow keeps more of the nutters off the roads. I got stuck behind someone doing under 20mph this morning on a clear dry road, just because there was snow on the verge!
