ooooh it's so exciting, a mystery and for once it hasn't happened to me!
Kitchen cupboards? We have a cupboard called 'the cupboard' and in it goes everything that gets tidied away when the doorbell rings... it swallows all sorts of odd things!
Mine are in a biscuit tin and the number of people who say 'hmm they look nice' and are disappointed when I tell them it's seeds lol.
Have got the toyah song going round in my head 'it's a mystery...lalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaa'

Not there.
Mild panics. Accusations. Major panic. I even look in my allotment sheds
It turned up ~ already packed, all smug like, in Mr Shed's suitcase, along with other things I'd been squirrelling away for 6 months.
Of course is was his fault, cos if he'd started packing like I told him to, he'd have found it !All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

Mr Sheds drives me crazy, he never, ever puts things where they should go. He lost the radiator key last week. Normally I get annoyed and frustrated, and find it for him, but I made him tip all his tools out and look properly. Then I picked all the tools back up and put them away properly, on the shelf, not the floor, grrrr.
Not there.
I got him to visualise the last time he used it, and where would he have put it afterwards (just on the floor, usually).
"well, I always used to put it in my useful drawer* in the old house, but it's not there, I looked"
He went and had a proper look in the useful drawer, and there it was.

Just a thought has it been put somewhere and fallen down, like behind the tv/cabinet, has it been pushed to the back of a table and landed on a dining chair where it cant be seen, between the side of a chair and the wall, apologies if any of these are irrelevent, just thinking of places son's homework ends up. Under the sink is always a good one or in computer cabinet behind monitor, good luck i hate mysterys like this and they drive me mad till i find them so i sympathise. oh and behind microwave is another. You're closer to god in a garden than anywhere else on earth.

Grrrrrrrrr I just can't get him to take this seriously today.... Started trying to move stuff myself in the porch, and he says "Just leave it, I'll do it" So I go and sit down and he follows me in, and starts folding the washing!! "I can fold the washing" says I, "it's ok, I'm not moving that stuff in the porch yet"...
Aaaaaaagh!!!!! I'm going to kill him!!!!
