Now then people, I have had a couple of PM offers of seeds, and knowing what you lot are like, I'm half expecting Lynda to turn up on the doorstep with enough seeds to plant up 10 lotties...

I am POSITIVE that the bloody thing is in the house somewhere! Jez swears he hasn't put it in the bin, so I've just got to cultivate some patience Which is pretty difficult when you're stuck on your arse..

I will sit down (well, actually, I have no choice there...) and write a list of the ones I'm most bothered about, and if it gets to the point where I've lost hope, I WILL ask, I promise, cross my heart

moi ?? as if ...... am happy to be collecting point again, if they don't turn up, and i also have access to next doors car now, so should be no problem delivering them personally but like Auntie Mo said, no point in you having 200 packs of lettuce lol ...... and if you get on your feet soon we may also have to go have a peek at your local poultry auction .... not that i'm gonna buy any of course

Well, Jez went off out, so I packed the kids off up to bed, grabbed a bin bag, and braved the porch! It wasn't too bad, the space is small enough that I could just use one crutch & lean against stuff (like walls ) for balance.
Lord, it's messy
I wheeled #2 son's 'stunt scooter' into the hallway.
I picked up all the empty log net bags, empty coal bags & junk mail & binned 'em.
Started chucking loose pots in a cardboard box.
Hung up some coats.
Rolled up the compost bag.
Had a rest....

Stood back up again.
Started trying to inch a cardboard box full of bits out of Jez's car off the trolley, onto the table at the right.
Something fell off the box, down the left hand side of the trolley, next to the wall...
I nearly fell over trying to pick it up...
And spotted a purple, tinnish looking thing...

I've only bloody...
