I just entered this to try to get either a new greenhouse or some tools to help my rheumatic back. I do notice though that the closing date is January 2nd 2008. Do you think I am in with a chance?

On the last page, last item in the small print it says 'Closing date January 2nd 2008.' They may be referring to something else, I'm one of those laid back people who buy time shares without reading the small print, but I just caught it as I surfed out.

maybe it means results in Feb mag, although i think that might be a bit quick, but as i don't get it yet i could be wrong.

No. I re-checked it. The closing competition for lat month's draw is January 9th 2009. The closing date for this month's is January 2nd 2008. I usually buy GYO at the newsagents and was thinking about taking a subscription. Instead I am subscribing to 'Psychic Weekly' Lol.

I have just entered and it does say Jan 2nd but as I think this is the first time the feb magazine comp has been open I dont think the date is right. I hope not cos it was still jan's comp before

I too have been waiting for the online entry form for Feb's. competition. Today is the first day it has been available so I also, was a little surprised to see the closing date as 2nd of Jan.

Hope it is just a typo but have noticed similar in previous months.

Of course its a typo. Note the year as well as the month 2008. We are all entering a year late if it isn't a typo. I just was amused by it. My guess is Feb 2nd 2009.

even if you won, they wouldn't have to pay out!! cos you just admitted, that the dates are wrong.
