Mr S is a right greedy guts ... he has no concept of portion control. I have to freeze cheese or he'll eat the lot, and I have to put dinners out in one-person portions, or he'll scoff it all. Cook a joint ... I have to immediately freeze the leftovers, or he'll pick at it all day until there's nothing left.

I may have cured his fridge-thieving though....
remember that Prawn Coleslaw he made for Xmas starter? Well, he decided to freestyle, and add some walnuts. I didn't know until I saw him and his parents tucking in.

Afterwards, I said "remember when Don's little girl came round? And she fed all the parrot's walnuts to him all at once? Well, I picked them all off the cage floor after they'd gone home, and put them in the fridge"

He's obviously getting too much practice! Don't let him get away with it any more!

My Mum used to have this trouble with my fat Uncle, who lives with her. She now dishes out his portion and puts it in the microwave, ready for when he gets in. Would this be an idea?

Like your style, Two Sheds. A lot, tee hee hee!!

Well, we don't have a microwave...and it's unusual for me not to be there to dish out...but I will consider taking my portion out of the line of fire in future and hiding it away.

I can't be too hard with him, he does all the ironing and all the washing up. He's just a tad overenthusiastic on 'plate and tummy filling', bless him.

I do like the walnut gag though - now, where to get a parrot from???
