Tiger Balm, wonderful stuff. My sis bought some home from Singapore some years ago and she needs to be getting deployed in that region again pretty soon as I've finally run out.
A little really does go a long way!

You can buy it in our local chemist - white or red. About £4 a jar.

You just made me splutter over the keyboard, then, tee hee hee!

I pluck rather than shave. Lasts longer and you can't beat picking out those ingrowing hairs. Ooh the satisfaction when you get a long one and hark at the amazement when a 5 incher is revealed!!

Do the pits this way, too. A bit tear worthy first time, but keep on top and it's soooo much better than shaving!

Olbas Oil (or the supermarket equivalent) is just as good, used as a muscle rub.
You can get Tiger Balm in Poundshops, but perhaps it's just vaseline, lavender and wee ?

I have to admit that when I went in for Day Surgery to have my wisdom teeth removed in November last year, I shaved my legs for the occasion, but they did warn me that I would have to wear a surgical gown (they let me keep my clean knickers on though!).

When I was 9 months pregnant I was even still painting my toenails (they are ALWAYS painted - bright pink at the mo), I have NO IDEA how I reached to do it as I grew out of all my maternity clothes and was the size of a large bungalow.
The annoying thing was that the hospital took it off as I had c-section and they needed bare nails for the op. Bummer.

                        janeyo

I took polish and painted them after the op! even took my hairstraighteners to hospital, wasn't going to have any mad hair pics of me and the baby lol. IN fact I think I asked the surgeon who kindly took a pic for us of all 3 of us in the op room if my hair looked ok. He did give me a funny look though!

I blame all the unaccustomed early starts I've had this week. *Goes off to hide*
