I pluck rather than shave. Lasts longer and you can't beat picking out those ingrowing hairs. Ooh the satisfaction when you get a long one and hark at the amazement when a 5 incher is revealed!!

Do the pits this way, too. A bit tear worthy first time, but keep on top and it's soooo much better than shaving!

Oh that has got to hurt!!!

The annoying thing was that the hospital took it off as I had c-section and they needed bare nails for the op. Bummer.

I took polish and painted them after the op! even took my hairstraighteners to hospital, wasn't going to have any mad hair pics of me and the baby lol. IN fact I think I asked the surgeon who kindly took a pic for us of all 3 of us in the op room if my hair looked ok. He did give me a funny look though!

Wow, you are way more together than I was. There is a video of me that my sis took about 1-2 hours after and I was still ever so slightly off my face (meptid + entonox = FAB) and talking complete shite! I watch it with the sound on mute!

Piskie, as its another laydee your visiting, tis only polite to do the facial beard and moustachioed areas. She wont mind a pant beard and spiders legs especially with it being cold an all.

Keep the warmth Piskie!+ you know if you shave now then you've got to make it through that prickly stage again before it's summer & you have a genuine need to shave.
Must say initially all you good girls made me feel a tad guilty for my lack of dedication to looking good....then I remembered I've got another couple of months where my legs will be permanantly covered with trousers anyway,so.....

                    Not just me then!!

I'll never be a yummy mummy, not while I do the school run in mucky allotment clothes, work uniforms and (once) pyjamas with coat on over the top.

I have on numerous occassions tried the eyebrow thing, but I sneeze afterevery pluck!!Long fringe seems the best option for me!!!So if you make it to potato day we'll both have to look out for bushy eyebrows!!

If I spend the time shaving/waxing/make-up-ing/dressing in nice clothes, then I can't actually do anything! Can't dig the lottie in fancy clothes And make-up running down one's face with sweat is NOT a good look So, it's stretchy black pants, a t-shirt & a jumper, walking boots, hair in a ponytail & a bit of moisturiser for me, 99% of the time!

I'll most likely be wearing my Disney World cap with 'grumpy' written across the front. One of the best eyebrow-hiders!
