Oh i have jjust received an email from Rebekah and the one at Barrowford is on the 15th, Gordon and I will go to that one! Looks really good, other things, other than spuds, plenty for glutton to play with lol..

The 15th?? It's listed as being the 21st!!

I just had a reply to the email I sent to 'Rebekah's Veg' about the potato event in Barrowford, Lancashire. She told me that there has been a mistake in publicising this event.

IT WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE 15TH FEBRUARY not THE 21ST!!!

Thanks for the email - ******* ****** put the wrong date into their magazine.
Barrowford Potato Day in being held on the 15th February. We will have 95 varieties of potatoes, 9 varieties of Onion sets and shallots, Rhubarb and Strawberries along with a collection of over 400 varieties of Vegetable seed including Cut & Come Again, Oriental, Sprouting, Herbs and Veg.
We are also holding a potato day at Bollington in Cheshire on the 21st and Mold on the 28th these are in conjunction with Bollington Horticultural Society and the NCCPG North Wales Branch. We also sell seed and onion sets etc at Shropshire Organics on February 14th (obviously they provide the potatoes)....

I went to Ryton Oganic yesterday (wed's) there was plenty of spud's left @18p each just the job i think there was about 30 variety's left got some Lady Balfour ..Julliete..Catriona..for friend's and some Mayan Queen for myself .
Plus as it was a normal day no admiission charge my price there was quite a few variety's i never seen before so if you are any where near Ryton and want to call in perfect oppotunity to top up your seed spud's....jacob
