male female divide - how hot do you have you bath?

I apparently have mine at a temp hot enough to melt lead.

Sometimes to save time and cos if he didn't he would be a dirty beggar, OH gets into my water. (really hope this is not just us lol) He always yelps, squeals, gasps and has to add more cold even though I have just got out when it was even hotter!

I think it may be a male /female thing of women liking HOT water and men not being able to cope with anything warmer than tepid?

If I have a shower I have to turn it UP to get it hot enough and he has to turn it DOWN to get it right for him.

I don't think it can be too hot. In fact I think I may be like a frog, I read that if you put one into boiling water it will jump out but if you put it into water and heat it to boiling it will sit there happily and boil to death.

We got a bath with two no-tap ends! (Taps in the middle of one side) We have to have the water at the same temperature. I think the problem for blokes is that their dangly bits are sinsitive to over-hot water - our fancy bits are inside. I don't like it too hot anyway - I have rather dry skin and it makes it sore and itchy afterwards if I've had the water hot enough to make me red.

We both like it hot. If I'm having a long soak, I will more in to make it hotter. Tis funny watching him gingerly lowering ... himself in when its a tad warm though.

Mrs snuffer has her bath at a radioactively hot temperature. I can't be sure if all women are the same but she stays in there for ages aswell. I get in bath (not to hot), bathe, get out of bath. Mrs snuffer gets in bath (boiling hot), drinks wine / tea / coffee whatever, reads book, bathes, lounges about for another half hour then gets out. Sometimes she has the water so hot I'm surprised to see any enamel left on the bath.

Hot Hot Hot - my body seems to suck the heat out the water immediately, so I'm usually forever heating it up!!!

Shower up as high as it can go too!! I have no idea about men and water temps - two women in the house - BLISS! :P

Hot for me, if OH gets afterwards, he cools it down. He's the one for staying in the bath though, 4 or 5 hours, with books, gameboy, DS, table drinks, lunch if he can find anyone daft enough to bring it to him . Good job we have 3 loos in this house!
He showers to get clean, baths to relax.
I'm too short to be able to lay down in our bath (I could float off the bottom, or sink and drown), and even with the water hot, the top half can get a bit chilled if I think I'll stay in for a while. I think 30 mins tops it.

mine is the same he jumps in after me, yelping etc,,,,, BUT there is no way on this earth that I would get in after him................plus he always wants to annoy me when the candles are on, its tranquil, kids are asleep......

my shower only goes up to tepid ..... so i usually have a bath, and it's got to be radioactive lead melting ..... son gets in bath after me, dunno what he does though lol ....... OH will never get in after me, and always insists on his own towel, that no one else has used he lounges in it for hours too, reading or whatever it is men do, dunno about his bath temp, he always runs his own, but he always moans the shower is too hot when i've been in it at his house ...... i occasionally read, and have a brew, when i'm cold or achey, and want a nice long soak to warm up.
