Morning all!
I hope you all slept well last night!
Well I slept like a baby last night, all the way through, makes a change! I often wake up early, way before it's time to get up and it is still dark and horrid out side. (sulks)
Anyway peeps, It's a bit misty here in good old Purfleet Essex this morning, at least the little snow we had here a few days ago has gone now but it is still on the cold side out there! The ground is still too hard to do anything with! " I want Spring! (she chants impatiently) lol
My mogies have had their breakfast and are scattered around the house having a hard days night already. LOL "cheeky lot!" They have been sleeping all night, now they want to copy their big cousins, lions tigers... and sleep all day as well!
Things will change for them as the weather warms up! They will want to get out more! *(Me as well by then!)* Show my girls the outside now and they would look out and say. "Do you honestly think we are going out there? in that!" then run away and find the nearest warm spot in the house Just like me LOL
Mind you my old tom cat Eseve is different! He is sitting up here with me in my study, looking out of the window, eyeing up the garden! (Thinks to himself "I'm wellard; bring it on, let me out there"!) As soon as I move I know he will be following me, but in front of me trying trip me over,to get there first, as cats do!!! He forgets he is at least 105 in his years
I have had him for 15 years now, since he was a small cat but not a ketten. My daughter found him starving and looking for a home, god knows how long he had been a stray?? He was wild as anything with everyone at first. Only loved my daughter, well she was the first one to feed him. For about a week All the wrong things though, crisps, ((chocolate; He is lucky to be here!!!) she was feeding him in secret then asked to bring him home. It took a good few years but now he is soft and soppy and loveable but is still topcat in the house, being the eldest he still puts the girls in their place though! lol
Well I'm out of here for now catch you later
Have a good one people!
Love Jan
P.S.
Correction about the weather thing! Just had a proper look outside when I let the cat out. There is a light fresh covering of snow starting to settle, (SULKS EVEN MORE) and thinks; *I want sunshine!!!* All I can see through my window when I'm at my desk is the roof tops, because as we know heat rises, it takes longer for the snow to setttle on the roof than the ground.
