Had a heavy frost to light snow covering this morning in Essex. It did not last that long but still sooo cold out! Iwant to hibernate or migrate to the sunshine!
Warwickshire has a hoar frost, trees look really pretty least they would if you could see them through the thick fog!! and it is very cold, the ice on the pond was about an inch thick when i tried to break it for the poor frozen little birds.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown
Hoar frost here for the last two days - beautiful . I put my woollies on, grabbed the camera and headed out - got some lovely pics. It's supposed to warm up tomorrow. Shame, I like it like this - clean weather I call it

It was -4 at 9.30am and by midday it was -0.5 and thats were it stayed all day. It is dropping rapidly now though. Beautiful hoarfrost yesterday, but no snow for the south coast yet, and not for the forseeable future.
