It sounds like you've had a fab time Did you do all that cooking yourself?!
Can't wait to hear about the arrival of your girls
Yes Sarz - I love cooking so it's no hardship. Can't think of a better way to spend my day - and having my lovely family around to eat it all up of course!
...Started with a pate made with Arbroath hot-smoked salmon, wrapped in thin-sliced salmon with a salad.
Main course, Scottish venison, Galloway beef, haggis (and neeps) etc.
Finished with Atholl Brose - heavenly...
Cooor - can you adopt me please?
All the best - Glutton 4 Punishment Freelance shrub butcher and weed removal operative.
Penblwydd Hapus! - a little welsh greeting from those of us over the border. (I'm assuming that the translation isn't necessary?!)
Hope you are having a really great day - am I right in thinking that there was mention of chickens as part of the big six O present? Ooo, I do hope so.
As I'm having a delicious glass of red at this moment, may I raise my glass, "To Flummery, many happy returns of the day", cheers!
(p.s. I hear 60's a good age - at least that's what my big bruv said when it was his a couple of months ago!)
Life is brief and very fragile, do that which makes you happy.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.
Living on the Welsh/Monmouth/Gloucester border.....we're either away with The Fairies, growing our own Twelve Toes, or feeding The Wild Boar? Which makes our lateness totally excusable, don't you think?! Happy Birthday Aunty Flummy. Our lateness is only equalled by your Lovliness..X
