After my long bike ride, I have been famished. I did have some fruit strudel & custard for brekkie (small portion, so it's within my calorie count), then pasta veg & feta for lunch & dinner. A pint of ale tonight as it's Friday.
Only 5 mins exercise (run on treadmill), but I made myself do it.

Can't let this thread slip away.
I too am trying to loose about a stone.
Watching with interest what everyone else are advising.
Don't agree with diets, just trying to cut down and exercise more.

I weighed myself yesterday, lost nothing, way above what my correct weight should be.
Deffo I need to do more exercise, but it's been raining peristently - cold, windy and sleety that I haven't walked much = and by not much I mean practically not at all.
Judging by your daily meal plans, I guess I need to eat less as well!

Well I daren't put what I eat on here I've really cut down - no snacking - and smaller meals, but I still eat in a day what some of you eat in a week lol! XX

Actually, its easier to cut down on portion size rather than cut out something you really like.
When you get the portion size under control you can then decide whether to cut out some foods or not.

yesterday we ate out for lunch, and had friends for dinner too. This usually means a massive pig out, but we had salad & soup for starters (no cheese). The veggie main was blue cheese pie ... I left the pastry and couldn't detect any cheese anyway lol.
No pud
And we had a brisk 35 min on the beach beforehand.
Dinner: Linda pie, mash & veg. I did my "usual" portion, but because I've been cutting down my portion size, I just couldn't eat it all. Again, I left the pastry. Fruit salad & cream for pud, but only a splash of cream, not half a pint.

Weighed in again Thursday, lost another 3lbs, so that's 7 1/2lbs since Christmas finished! I'm chuffed to bits. Went to a friend's wedding reception yesterday and had aimed to lose half a stone in time for it and I had. However, I'm now on my monthlies and have demolished 500g of Dairy Milk today, oh blimey!!
Not lost anyhting for 10 days! I seem to remember last time I lost some weight (about 7 years ago) it took ages to kick in too.
This morning - fruit yoghurt
lunch - JA soup (please don't let it kick in during this afternoon's T'ai Chi session - it will give a whole new meaning to 'Movement to Music')
Dinner - vegetable layer bake with cheese sauce.
I had a really low day y'day, very very fatigued and miserable. I would usually binge in one of these moods ...
sultana porridge for breakfast
carrot cakes & custard for lunch (500 cals, so it replaced my lunch)
cheesy omlette, but a small portion with lots of salad.
-------------
today: the rest of the cakes & custard instead of lunch, a proper dinner, and a 2 hour bike ride to burn it all off.

I had weigh in today and despite her doom and gloom last week that the weight would go back on as it would have been water... I actually stayed the same.
I was pleased with this as I know the weigh in last week was a dodgy one due to the sick bug.
I have done loads more exersize this week and really been careful with food so to stay the same was good. Most of the christmas rubbish is out of the house now too.
