Jackie your not alone there! I get stressed when I'm driving and have no idea where the heck I'm going! I'm a bit better if I have company to help navigate and get lost to gether! lol As for Sat Nav's, I don't have one but pleeease; don't get me started on them!!!! lol Some of our lorry drives from work use them, at times they still phone the office for directions to some places because the sat nav has sent them wrong! probablt bad programing of destination to start with! lol Also some postcodes wont be picked up like ours at work we give a different one for sat navs than our postal one!

Everything will be fine . No one will get lost, turn up on the wrong date, throw stones in the glasshouse, get eaten by the carnivorous plants, or anything else I can imagine going wrong!
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

          Final Arrangements

The date chosen is 7th Feb meeting at (approx)11am outside the shop where the chairs are set up.
Entry fee £8.50, although this might be discounted by members taking in free guests. We intend to picnic , so bring a packed lunch. PM me with mobile numbers in case of delays etc.
I have listed names of people who want to go below. If I have missed you off, I'm sorry, and please let me know. It isn't too late to join in, we haven't enough to get a group ticket yet, so it doesn't make a difference.

That's fine, just thought I'd post the final arrangements, and bump the thread at the same time, so people are aware it's going ahead.

Don't forget if you are a Garden Organic member you get free access to Wisley.

I hope all you Grapes have a fab time.

I've put this as a Sticky until the date, so you don't have to keep bumping it up.

Darn it! I've got something else now confirmed for that day - I was crossing everything that they wouldn't need me on that afternoon.

Sorry guys, but hope you have a lovely time.

Oh, and I think I'm right in saying that they don't really allow picnics in the garden itself (although I'm sure if you're just munching on an apple you'd be OK) so you might have to be a bit 'discrete'! The picnic area is outside the main entrance beside the car park :-(

Not sure I can persuade OH to drive that far, but still trying<g>

If we can make it, who was it not sure about travelling from Devon? Can you get to Andover? That is 'on our way', so maybe...... (suspect coaches etc only go up M5/M4, so consider Swindon? Would have to get there earlyish as it is a small, but time consuming, diversion). Like I said, still trying to persuade......
