Actually Paul, having horses working the land again, especially on smaller farms and for certain tasks would be fabulous.

I'd love to know how high fuel prices would need to rise before this became economically viable. Possibly not much on a small farm?

sorry, everyone with access to a computer can do it, and name me one business these days that doesn't have access to a computer?
Access to a computer is one thing, access via a server is another. I used to use MSN to talk to our web developers when running through ideas etc and it was very useful. However, as with most things - people abused it, and as a result, MSN was blocked via our server.

You're talking to a company that think Lotus Notes is modern technology!

Not when you take the finance of a tractor into account.

So we build no new motorways, no new high speed rail routes, no new reservoirs. or no new other infrastructure projects too.
Problem is this island is rather crowded & any major project will result in some people suffering.

BTW I am undecided about runway three.

no need to roll eyes at me.

i do not in general trust a politician to tie his own shoelaces, let alone keep a promise, however, this was a pretty public promise, with no prevariacation, a clear statement that runway 3 would be stopped.

now, i assume that means THAT runway 3, because it would be foolish to think a third runway is not needed, but .......... not everyone agrees its needed there?
I am all for moving it to different site.

Would runway three be needed if most of the short haul flights be covered by high speed rail?
