I'm not good with sick...

and the toddlie has got another sick bug. he seems to lurch from one thign to another at the mo, getting us all down. Well mostly me as I have to deal with the washing and the cleaning of it up whilst trying not to join in!
I was just throwing the cot sheets away as couldn't face it until I realised I only had 2 left, lol.

He certainly knows how to pick his moments though... it was 2.40 and I went upstairs to wake him up to go get big bro from school. As I opened the door he cough cough coughed... and you guessed it... sick everywhere. He was lying as if he has his head in a bl**dy bowl of it. IN his ears, up the walls... YUCK!

I had to ring the school and say I would be late as he had to be stripped ansd washed and hairdryed!

And just as I was getting him in the buggy (10 mins late for school) OH arrived home...... Typical!

Sorry if sick's not your thing either, but had to share!

Our second son was a sicky sprog too - and I hate sick!! I empathise with you but reassure you it will pass. Ours got better once he had all his teeth (dunno if that was relevant but he was poorly with every tooth he cut)

Well it does figure.. he is past 18 months and onyl has 6 teeth and they are a right pain to come through, just like his brother's were. I think he will be getting his last ones as they are meant to be losing them!

It's funny cos I am not good with sick and OH not too good with the other end lol, so between us we muddle through....

when my son was little, i always had a rule, if you puke and don't make the toilet/sink/bowl/whatever, you clean it up yourself .... funny but he's only once not made it, and he was at school at the time, and projectiled down the corridor outside the headmasters office ..... was the only time he never had to clean it up either lol...... i don't DO puke .... yukkkkkkk

When my son was 7 he had a bunk bed and he had a sickness bug and he projectile vomited from that! it was like an explosion in a veggie stew factory!! I am like you i can't handle sick either so that was a toughie i really can empathise with you.

Does that include big kids? Hubbie was ill this week and he swore he was dying from it, he is a bit too big to pick up and put back in bed, i had a running commentary for two days on exactly what and how much!! and between you and me he isn't as cute as my son was at 7 either!!lol

lol, the sick bug, ain't it great! or whatever the reason it causes our kids to puke at the drop of a hat! hope the little one feels better soon (and you!)

The good news is that toddlie seems bit better... only 3 bed changes overnight (had to use bath sheets as ran out of cot ones)

The BAD news is that no1 son (4) and OH both been at it all night too.

he doesn't actually have to clean it, but the threat of it always made sure rob got it in something ...... but no1 son and OH can manage

Janeyo, I haven't any words of wisdom except to say it's a matter of waiting it out - hope they're all better soon.
