Mr H used to tell the boys there were 6ft killer bunnies in the woods,(strange parenting skills that one) Maybe it was true and shes a descendant?

Sorry but if I had a choice of removing a bunnies teeth or having it humanely put down....hmmm...Sorry,but that sounds cruel!
Lynda,I'm not the 1st to say it...but it really does sound like maybe the best way forward is the option you dread the most.Is there not anyone you know that could humanely do the deed?...it seems hideous to be paying vets fees for something that some do as a hobby...either shooting or ferretting. You've done your best & seems you were unlucky to find a bunny that didn't want to be loved.....now off to bed to have nightmares of killer bunnies taking over the world courtesy of T.S's!!!

Don't PDSA do the deed for free if you're on benefit?

haven't got a pdsa, and they ask for a donation, i think it's about £6 .... i think it's that at the rspca anyway, but next doors car is at work, so i gotta wait till he brings it home, public transports a nightmare to get to the rspca,

gonna ring the rabbit rescue monday, and see what they say, first.

anyway, to take her teeth out i just don't see as being right, but i'd have to get her claws off too lol ....... don't know anyone that would do it, no ...... i can do mice, but you can't kill bunnies the same way..... it's definitely not something i could do.

Bunnies can eat fine without their front teeth but I'm not sure a vet would do it for behavioural reasons. It's usually done because of dental problems where the teeth don't line up so overgrow continually.

Hopefully tameside will have space or can at least pop you on their waiting list

I dont know if this would be the same. My sister had a pure bred cocker spanial dog that could turn nasty, lots of trips to vets etc then he bit my niece who was a toddler at the time, it turned out that he was phsyco because of too much interbreeding and had to be put down, this could be the same for your rabbit.

tamsin i wasnt acctually suggesting that the rabbit was released into the wild
i was just sayin if it was it would survive i think
now now ive written it again i can see the confusion
but thats honestly not was sayin
got to admit if i didnt have three dogs 2 cats and a missis thats says no more animals i would take the rabbit
but alas im not in a position to so of the suggestions given i think the rescue centre the best
                    definately not put down

I've had a couple of rabbits one was the most gentle giant creature ever and live with 2 guinea pigs and the other had a pen and run alone as he was fine with me but very very skitish around other animals and nipped.

Hope you can find a solution
