Last year I woke up at about 5 in the morning and I could hear a strange noise. Looking out the bedroom window I could see something leaning on the now removed Leylanidi trees. Switched the outside light on and it was Kyles trampaline. We had to go down and remove it from the trees as it was a 15 foot trampoline and it was nearly touching the top of the trees.
It is now upsidedown on the grass with lots of rubbish on it. Be wary of trampolines they try to fly in strong winds.
On another note Storm managed to go out and was back in less than a minute. She couldn`t hold on any longer.I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.Comment

Trees next to the house are making the wind sound worse than it probably is. That said, LadyWayne has just lit some candles as the lights flickered once, and then about 20 minutes later "dimmed" for a couple of seconds...A simple dude trying to grow veg. http://haywayne.blogspot.com/

B windy here too.
Chucked it down this morning, then cleared before lunchtime, and was lovely.
Blowing a big wet hoolie now tho. Supposed to stop in the early hours.

Just looked at the Beeb forcast and seen the none-too-encouraging heading "cold and windy", followed by a map showing it's at least going to be dry just about everywhere this morning.
Everywhere that is, apart from one little patch of rain - roughly over St Albans where I'll be standing on the start line wearing a t-shirt and shorts in a couple of hours' time
