Just got back from the allotments.

My plots are all OK. Had to go with another fella and collect up the component parts of a new comers shed. We've stacked on her plots and weighted it down.

A few other sheds were blown over along with a chicken house, luckily enough they haven't got their chooks yet.

Just near me a polytunnel has gone, the frame is still there but lord only knows where his cover has gone.

I've storm lashed my little grow tunnel and put up a windbreak for it. The frame seems a bit distorted but I'll sort that out later.

Absolutely brilliant sunshine at present and warm out of the wind, shame I had to come home early (OH wants to go to Costco).
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

A greenhouse frame that I had errected but not fastened down for a fellow allotmenteer was half a plot away and a bit bent, but it will fix.

Best batten down the hatches then for Wednesday.
