I planted a shed load of bulbs around October last year. Walking around the garden yesterday and they are coming through everywhere. Spring is on its way!!

Thanks for the piccy Helly - we could all use some snowdrops. Very wintry here today.
You do have a nice mild climate there in Dumfrieshire. Have been to the Logan Gardens several times. Just wonderful.

This time last year when my Mum was visiting, I had a lovely display of Snowdrops in a big pot in my back garden. Then I took the "advice" of a neighbour who said that if I lifted the bulbs when they'd finished, and store them over the summer, re-plant in September then I'd have an even better display this year. Not 1 to see anywhere in the garden I'm really p****d off. I'll get some more this year and do what I was doing before and take no notice of "helpers"! Did the same with daffs and tulips too and now I'm expecting the same result - zilch

I love Snowdrops. I planted loads in my last garden, they'll all be up now as it was a very sheltered garden. Perhaps I'll sneak round and have a look!

I've got two in full bloom, now, closely followed by a few more shooting up! I bought loads of them in the Autumn, as I didn't see ONE in the garden last year. They cheer me up in these January days.

I had a lovely surprise when I went to put food for the birds out the other day at the end of the garden, first little clump of snowdrops poking their pretty little heads through the creeping ivy.Brought smile to my face, season's slowly changing.
