I need to vent my anger!

On Friday as I was walking home from the tube when I was mugged five minutes from my house. I was jumped from behind by three youths and was pushed to the ground where they kicked and punched me and saying "get his money". I was yelling and shouting and trying to kick them and then they pulled off my coat and ran off with it and my bag. People came out of their houses and were supportive and one saw them run off. We called the police and they were there within four minutes. Thankfully my wallet and phone were in my front trouser pockets so I was on top of them but my keys and oyster card were in my coat so I've lost them. All this happened at 10.30pm and I've walked down that road so many times and at a much later time as well. I'm all bruised and shaked but know it could have been much much worse.

To cap the weekend off when my Dad came to help me replace the lock on my door he popped over the allotment first and discovered that our shed had been broken into and some of our tools were stolen.

There is no connection to the two events but I'm wondering if anything else can go wrong! Will I turn up to work tomorrow and find a P45 on my desk?

So sorry you were mugged. They are animals, hope your injuries are not too bad. What gives these morons the right to do such things, I have four sons and if they had ever done anything like this they would have had a kick up the backside from me.

I saw a croud in Tesco the other day, one of the lads jumped on the back of someone shouting get his money. The security guard was quick to respond and as it happened the local fire fighters were also on the scene in seconds. It turned out that the lad was "just joking" and called the police to claim that HE was being assaulted by those who went to the assistance of the person being "mugged". The police took everyone's names and said it would be investigated but that dealing with the matter as they did was a serious concern.
Needless to say the police were there for about 1 hour dealing with "witness" statements from everyone who were astounded at the treatment the security and fire fighters got.

Hi folks,

Thanks for all the messages of support. I'm feeling calmer now I've had the front door lock changed. Tomorrow I have to go and buy a new coat and contact London Transport to get a replacement Oyster card and then have to face the crowd at work and tell them that the syndicate lottery tickets were in my bag!

I think the so and so's who did this to me are scum. If they had any balls they would have faced me instead of creeping up behind me and jumping me. They are spineless freaks who deserve to get everything that their miserable lives will throw at them. I hope they enjoy my coat it was a ten year old brown cordrouy material one with a busted zip and missing buttons I'm sure their mates will think they look very cool in it.

Arggggghhhhhhhhh!

Really feel sorry for you, what a rotten weekend, hope you were not hurt too much, or shaken up too much. I remember having my car broken into for my dad's old sheepskin coat and a bag of cans on their way to recycling...idiots. I def believe in what goes around comes around

Sorry to hear about your rotten weekend. No doubt the scum that stole your coat are victims of the economic downturn that have had to turn to crime in order to make a living and we should all feel sorry for them. I think not.
