Back to work tomorrow since my aches and pains are subsiding (thanks to the pain killers).

Once again thanks one and all for all the messages of support I am overwhelmed by the people on this forum.

Hi folks,

I just thought I would post a quick update. I had a phone call from the Police to say that some of my property has been recovered. It turned out to be my work ID and it was found in an abandoned pub which is being renovated. The police now believe that I was one of about six/seven people that this "gang" attacked that weekend. Still no word on anyone being arrested but I am comforted by the return of at least one item.
