I hope you're feeling better today. Unfortunately this is a sign of the times and too many innocent people are being made to suffer. I wouldn't hold out much hope for the muggers to be caught and punished by the courts but like others have said - what goes around comes around. Sorry to put a negative slant on this, but when my car was trashed after I'd had it from new for 2 months, even though my friend positively identified 2 of the thugs, and evidence could be seen on the car, the thugs were let off due to "insufficient evidence" From the photos, what do you think? The cost of repair was over £2700, for which I had to pay £200 insurance excess and lost 1 years no claim bonus. At least, unlike you, I wasn't physically hurt. Possessions are replaceable, people aren't. Keep your chin up xxx
They'll get their comeuppance so try not to dwell on it now, you'll make yourself unhappy. It's a nasty thing to happen and you wonder what is in the minds of these people(not much, I suspect) I hope you're feeling less shaky now.xx
Thats awful news PP. I am so sorry to hear about this. Why dont you invest in a personal alarm, make you feel safer. Society has gone mad.....they will get their comeuppance.
How sh***y for you PP, really scary. I despair with this country at the moment, all thugs and morons and not just the government........

I was mugged when I was a teeneger - my friend and I had our bikes taken from us (I'd had mine two weeks, my friend had his two days). Anyway, the guys were caught (I knew one of their names), and we had to identify them in a "parade" - not behind two-way mirrors, but walking around them whilst sat at a table "reading" newspapers. I've never been so scared in my life!
Nothing ever came of it, no conviction ever reached I ended up with a cheaper bike (after insurance excess was deducted), and two of the "youths" hung around my schools gates for a few weeks after.
I've never forgotten their faces, and I still see the main culprit from time to time. Last I heard, he was jobless and had a drug habit. Me? I'm doin' alright.
What a horrible thing to happen - I'm so sorry. You must be so shaken up. In all honesty, I don't really feel comfortable with the whole "calling them scum" thing - just not me - but I truly hope they are arrested, convicted (it does happen!) and eventually experience some remorse (which also can happen). That's the best we can hope for I guess...
I'm glad you were not hurt, but its still a nasty thing to have happen. I have come to believe what goes around comes around. They will get theirs someday.
Hope you feel a bit better soon.
Like all others PP, I sympathise with your awful weekend.
I dont believe in Karma or life balancing itself out etc, but I truly hope the people concerned are caught, and proper justice is issued out.

Life's disappointments are so much harder to take if you don't know any swear words.
Really sorry for what happened to you PP, I can understand how angry you feel. It's lucky you weren't too badly hurt, very brave weren't they , three jumping you! Hope something more positive happens to you this week to make up for it.
