Plot Holders

Before I had my alloment I didn't even know the site was there.

Now everyone I speak to has a plot there or has a relative or friend on the site....

Is it just me.

Its like anything if you're not interested in it at the time you tune out and forget it. I didn't know where the allotments were in our village until I google earthed it. Good tool that, especially for finding neighbouring sites.

I've been walking down the path through our allotment site since I was 14 I never envisaged that I'd a plot-holder at that age though - it was all retired men in flat caps back then...

Five people on our street & three in the next have plots on the same site.

Only one couple that I actually knew ( but not very well ) have 2 plots on our site. There are others that I have spoken to since that I know their children or family memebers but not many.
