Oh I'm so sorry. You must feel so blue. I really hope something comes up job-wise, but lots of hugs to you anyway.
As Tammy said, a thin silver lining (even though you wouldn't have chosen it) is that Bob will be around for precious little Sprout more than he would have been. xxxI don't roll on Shabbos

That's bad timing All that really matters though is that Sprout and Mummy & Daddy are ok. It may not be easy but the other stuff will work out ok in the end {hugs}I was feeling part of the scenery

That really is pants! I do hope things work out - I'm sure they will, maybe not immediately but soon.
It's my biggest fear at the moment - LadyWayne is more upbeat about it than me.

Ooh No!! Really bad news Yo, we're both gutted to hear it, really sorry for you both! I know there's nothing we can say that will make it better, but do know that you are in our thoughts and positive energy is coming out your way!
Try and remain focussed on the good things in your life, the coming of your first child, the love that you share for each other and the friends that you have, these are the things that really matter! I know you've put a lot of hard work and hard earnt cash into your home, but as long as you two and the baby are ok, thats all that really matters! If the worst comes to the worst, then perhaps the new government scheme may be able to help you keep your home? Its worth a thought!
I had my home repossessed (thru circumstances beyond my control) a few years ago, wasnt a nice thing to go thru, but it didnt kill me, and although it was a hassle, I came out the other side a much stronger person.
Anyhows, we'll see you on Saturday, what time is best for you?
Hugs from us both to all 3 of you!Blessings

thanks everyone,
the car got broken into last night. one window and two tyres slashed, thats the fireplace money gone.
I start maternity in 3.5 weeks I get 6 weeks on 90% which wont cover anything as Im part time, then the standard £100 per week, I'm taking a payment holiday from the mortgage as its in my name we cant use the insurance. Bob is going to make an appointment at citizens advice tomorrow regarding benifits but Im not hopefull, the last time one of us was out of work (me) we wernt entitled to anything as the other earned more than 11 grand. of course once sprout is here we will get child benifit but its not really enough to cover anything.
Bobs redundancy is 3 weeks basic wage, his pay for jan and comition(sp) for dec and jan we may never see, and the redundancy may take 3 months to come through.
Its hard to sty positive at the mo, we are bickering for the first time ever.
Mrs D, any time AM would be great, we'll have pizza for lunch, we will either be varnishing or painting, or cutting back at the lottie. so wear your really nasty scruffy stuff, or you can borrow. I'll give you a ring Fri?
Bob does internet marketing, but he has other skills too, so I'll get him on all the job sites and all the agencys, fingers crossed.Yo an' Bob

Oh YoandBob, that's just terrible about your car. I'm so sorry for you. You just don't need these problems at what should be a happy time with the baby coming.
Do you think it was just passing vandals whi did your car ? I'll never understand how their sick little minds work. I hope everything gets better for you soon. x

You will probably be able to get more this time around as its your OH that has lost his job and if he was the main earner your income is now a lot less. My OH was made redundant 2 months before our daughter was born 13 years ago and he had only had the job a short time so the agency found him another one very quickly. Thats when his income went up by a lot as he hadnt been getting the correct amount from previous employers as they had to keep wages to a minimum.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
and ends with backache

your having an awful time at the moment, try not to bicker with each other, its not good for either of you or the baby, plus you dont want high blood pressure. I know its easy to say relax but things will turn around. ((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to you, bob and sproutxxDont worry about tomorrow, live for today
