    Evening All,

Looks like a lot of comments today!

Prices I quoted were ball park figures - all depends what we want. They were for the supply of the shirt / fleece, printing on the front & back (as per HW design), as well as GYO logo & member name on the front, which is quite labour intensive - The guy I asked for the quote has said I can use his account, so he won;t have a mark-up on the goods, but I will have to pay up front

I tried to go for quality, as we dont want the stuff to fall apart the first time we use them - I have had one of the fleeces for a year now & it still looks good.

Am looking into badges as well, and also think I could get a GYO mug for less than the £4.50 I said last night (but everything depends on quantitites).

As I said - prices were for individual orders, ideal if 100 grapes wanted a T shirt, but bulk buying would mean they were all one size and one colour - I wanted to give people the option of whatever (yes Shirl - I can get Vee Neck Tees).

Mo - love the designs - do you know how many stiches are in each one - are the files in 'DST' format?

No doubt I have missed a few comments on the thread today - I apologise

I will have another look at things in the next couple of days, and hopefully give everyone a choice - still need to know if can use GYO logo, etc.

    Cheers

No, they're PES format but I think they can be converted to DST. Design 1 has 4750 stitches, design 2 has 4322 and design 3 has 7917. Obviously they can be scaled down in size. I'm happy to send you the files if you'd like them, I'm not putting any copyright or anything on them as they wouldn't be any good for anything else. I might do myself a t-shirt with one of the designs on just to see how it looks

Whatever design that is settled on, don,t forget to incorporate the web address to attract more to the vine. Or have this across the sleve or something

I like the polo shirt & fleece & either H.W.'s design or Mo's if we can't use the GYO logo but I wouldn't want my name on the shirt anywhere. Not even sure I'd wear it in public as I'm very shy & would be worried about being spotted!

I assume then it's for when people are meeting up so that they can find each other. If that's the case then badges would seem a more sensible (and cost effective) way to go. That way it's low cost, no fitting issues, no worries re coats covering up etc and no problems with people that wouldn't want to wear a logoed shirt anyway. If I've got it wrong and it's for wandering around normally then it sounds a bit too much like a uniform for me but then again I never like branded stuff anyway so it could just be me.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

i like the idea of a badge or mug, much better, anyone thought of a pen or book marks, after all when peeps get together don't we girls like to,er um,dress up a bit,and when on the lottie i personal would feel strangled by a tea shirt as i prefer a vest top when it's very hot with an old cotton shirt over the top, much more comfy, for me,personely, and feel better woring in older clothes, not good new ones.

I vote for a decent quality garment...no point in embroidering a £1 shirt....Can't the mag sponsor us or something.

I like no 3 Maureen ..not sure it needs the 'I am a'...perhaps just 'grape'...or 'the Grapevine'

                    ...' I got this through the Grapevine'...?...sorry

Don't like the badge idea as much...feel like a Scout, or a Quo fan.

the next village/little town to us has a local weekly free rag called the grape vine, and in leicester there is something called that also,it's a forum website, careonline, have not took a look at it yet,so walking around our areas sporting marked clothing would be very confusing indeed might get stoped in the street, thinking we something,we not lol

I could go to a tenner for a T shirt. But I really fancy a badge. Which is what I suggested in the first place lol.......
