Lovely poem. I love this, Stop the Clocks and Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep. I'm sure that you'll read it well.

I debated whether to read a poem at my god mother's funeral earlier this week but decided not to as I knew that wasn't really her sort of thing and I wanted it in keeping with her, after all, we're all different. Decided to just tell a few stories about her life and how I would remember her, was worried I'd not be able to manage it but when I got going it was surprisingly OK, think I was empowered by a desire to confirm what a wonderful lady she had been to everybody there, even though they already knew!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
