I have never been to Ikea, but there is a new one opening up in Southampton in mid-Feb so might visit that. I'm dreading what the traffic will be like though, it's already a pain getting into the town centre at the weekends.

Napkins - can never have enough of them - as well as candles!! And I agree about the "fairies" - yes they do fill the trolley whilst your back is turned!!

I want to get some wardrobes from there but the OH wants to make them.
I`ve only been waiting 2 1/2 years for him to do so. We have an open plan wardrobe at the moment.

OK, call his bluff. Get quotes for the work from local tradesmen - that'll wake him up lol!

Do what I do, come up with a (small) list of things you NEED done (I usually pick just 2 or 3) then he'll do one of them, so it's one off the list! It works for me.

I always feel like I'm shop-lifting in Ikea with those yellow bags. It's a very strange feeling, I kept looking over my shoulder expecting to be nabbed by store security the first time I went!!
