Good to see you again Tony. You've been missed!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

glad you're back and feeling better Tony.
Hope the coming growing season will be a good one for you.
          Best wishes.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Oh Lordy, wow, am I touched by all the above

Well the health things has been really difficult, 12 months or more on chemo injections 5 times a week took it's toll, really flattened me and didn't do much for the old blood thingy.

So, the specialist said I was getting worse in other ways and we agreed it was time to stop again so assuming my blood numbers stay more or less in line, I'm off it for the forseeable.

Down side is that it made me so unwell I haven't done or wanted to do anything, September to early December were sort of a bit of a blank, tho I did manage to get a trip back to the UK in - and that's probably my last one, may have to go back later this year but if not, suits me fine. And managed to do a couple of Council things but for the three days afterwards, nothing, far too knackered.

We had a burst pipe in the loft a couple of weeks ago when it was minus 10 but luckily only went into the garage and all sorted now. And the storms last weekend - like, serious serious storms - meant we used the wood fire for the first time in 3.5 years. And I've restarted my research business, so must be feeling better!!

And not even ordered my HDRA/Seed Library seeds yet, that's tomorrows job.

So, thanks for all the good wishes, I'm back but still taking things reasonably easy, anybody want a really bad cold cos I've got one, freebie!

And, even better, our three old cats are still with us, couple of mild scares but transpired nothing serious, all in fine condition and lovely as ever - J's right, I should have kept cats, not had children!

Got to redesign/rebuild the fruit tunnel that blew over, organise some topsoil for an as yet unfilled raised bed, decide what to do with about 3 tonnes of leaves (know what to do with them, it's the doing) and about 25 kilos of JAs.

So, best wishes to all, good to be back on the allotment with the chums and chumlettes and let's look forward to a happy, prosperous and fruitful (sorry about the pun) year
