You can tell when he`s done it as there is foamy scum on the top of the pond.
It hasn`t happened for a few years though, I think he has got the message.
I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
Isn't waste from sewage sort of sterilized before it's used? I don't fancy using it myself, or any other human by-products for that matter! I once worked on a ward where the ward sister used to drain the dregs out of the blood bottles that had been used for transfusions to feed her tomatoes with - now that really is gross as well isn't it!
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there
In NZ a lot of the hostels we stayed at had 'composting' toilets. Pretty eco idea, and saved huge quantities of water. Flash looking bathroom across a semi-enclosed porch, normal hot water sink but bottomless toilet (outhouse style). Every four or five days they would dump half a bucket of garden soil (worms included) and maybe half a handful of lime when needed. No smell that I ever noticed.. but I do know they spread it around the flowers (they hadn't bothered to pick out plastic feminine products that obviously didn't compost!).

QUOTE: A lot of the "waste" from sewage farms is turned into compost.
When I was a teenager, my Dad used to buy "Dagfert", this was compost from the Dagenham sewage works, mind you he only ever grew flowers.

OH's dad used to use Dagfert. Apparently he would sometimes get tomato seedlings appearing from it!!
