  • Seed catalogue arrived

The first catalogue for the new season has arrived. I'll be busy drooling over it then!

Oohhh you lucky thing, no sign of any here yet.

Hasn't stopped me thinking about things though.

I've just got the Thomspon & Morgan catalogues in the post & have already mentally ordered next Autumn's onions & shallots (don't mean I'm mental because I've ordered them-just ordered them in my head! ). I fancy the special offer multi-coloured radishes & Sungold & Ferline toms as well.

I'm a bit disappointed with the catalogue - nothing jumps out at me saying BUY ME. I was tempted with the hairy balls last year but wasn't brave (or insane) enough to order.
Am not sure if I will place an order this year. I still need seed, but will make my final decision after the other catalogues (Organic Gardening Catalogue, Tuckers, DT Brown) arrive. Should also be getting the Heritage Seed Library catalogue later this year (when hubby renews membership).

My son when he was younger (now nearly 5) would love to flick through the T&M catalogue saying flower, carrot, ...... a number of schools are getting into gardening. I like to read in the bath and unfortunately dropped one of the seed catalogues in! Not easy reading a damp catalogue.

I've just received Thompson and Morgan's catalogue this morning, but don't recall ordering a copy. I wonder if they got my details from the seed offer we sent off for from GYO. Still, it'll make a change from reading web catalogues I suppose.

Still don't know what they are. Is it just me?

On second thoughts don't answer that question.
