well ...... after taking an hour and a half to actually get there, i realised we were going to be a couple of minutes late, so gave them a ring to say i was nearly there ...... she said is that lynda? i said yes, she said, oh i've been trying to contact you, we only have your house phone number ......... the doctors car broke down and he can't get here, but he says to apologise ...... can you ring on monday to re-book ....... GRRRRRRRRRRR not only have i just wasted £14 in bus and train fares that i've had to cancel a direct debit to pay, i also have to pay the same amount to go there again ........ to say i am not a happy chicken is a bit of an understatement ...... I am very cross, ....... but i did get 4 belgian buns reduced to 60p in somerfield in manchester ...... so not a completely wasted journey

I've had these done on hands and feet, it's really weird when they start twitching and moving without you being in control. It didn't really hurt though, more a tingling sort of feeling.
I had my x-rays today to see if my head is falling off, (investigating stability of C0 and C1 on the spine), have an MRI coming up, and further nerve tests.
I think my sister used to be able to claim fares to hospital when she was on a low income. I don't know if they still do it, but might it be worthwhile looking to see if are you eligible for anything like that?
