  • Meet....??.....the new fella!

I don't know if you remember in December we lost our little family dog due to theobromine poisoning...

After a very emotional journey we finally managed to take the plunge and put a deposit down on our new little tibetan man.

We don't have a name picked out for him yet (suggestions on a postcard!) He's only three weeks old, so luckily we have another three weeks to debate the name topic.

I know this post is photo heavy...but he's gorgeous!!
I love to talk about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about!!

Blimey, you had me worried there Bobbie, lovely pooch, wont give a name though as I think animal names are so personal. Let us know what you call him.

That is a lovely looking fella. I know how much of a step it is to get a new one after losing an old one, but that little lad looks a bundle of fun.
Let us know what he's called.

Aw, what a cutie. We bought Ludo when he was ten days old then had to wait another 7 weeks before we could take him home. We visited every weekend so he got used to us. Pics show his face at 10 days and him with his brothers and sisters (he is the fat one in the middle)

Edit* sorry, hope you don't mind me putting piccies on your thread

Absolutely gorgeous. You're so brave, we lost our old boy 16 months ago and still haven't taken the plunge with a new pup.
We've always had big dogs, but when the kids were little they complained as I never let them walk the dog as I always feel that if the worst comes to the worst you have to be able to physically control it if, say, it sees a cat across a busy road. Enter Charlie the Shih Tzu of any dog we've owned he was the bravest (and most stubborn). He may have been small, but he didn't seem to know that, He hated the groomers and was banned from every poodle parlour in a fifteen mile radius - we had to go the rounds of them all again giving a false name every time. The next three weeks will be difficult, but think of it like having a baby and use the time to buy everything you need - you can even knit him a blanket!
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Awww, Beph that is just the cutest little bundle of colour I've seen for a long time. You'll have to watch where you're stepping for a while

Maybe when he's home show him to the girlies and it may shock them into laying, especially when you explain politely to them about the extortionate price of chook flavoured dog food .

Shirl your pup is a sweetie too, our pup is now a 6 month old thuggish teenager of approximately 20kg
