It's their loss Two Sheds - sod 'em. Some people are so shallow and ignorant - I'm angry for you.

Who cares what they think - it is your home and if you love it then that's fine.

Two Sheds, their attitude says far more about them than it does about you and yours - perhaps there's a small hint of envy in their comments about your home; after all, bricks and mortar and fancy furnishings make a house, people make a home.

I can only wish you enjoyment of your homemade lottie soup and bread - and at least you've got all that tidying done.

                Good wishes.

two sheds, eventually the house will be perfect and just how you want it, you can change colours and furniture and pictures every 2 weeks if you want, it is a home ......

they on the other hand, cannot change their attitudes with a lick of paint or a new mirror, they will always be miserable f**%^$s ..... as long as you're happy....... they will never be as happy as you

*heads to two sheds house for lottie soup, cos i'm starving*

chin up hun, they really aren't worth it ...... anyway, if they have a problem with it, they could always give you a big wad of cash

whatever others think it doesnt matter, its YOUR house, your happy in YOUR house, so stuff it. I dont care what anyone thinks........my MiL and FiL, are banned from my house after expecting me to lock up my chi's in crates whilst they visit and appsarently the lounge is too cluttered...........so what I love my house being busy.

Your house, you enjoy and besides its more soup for you!

Pathetic... Having to be mean to make themselves feel better/superior

(((Hugs)))) Sheds, I would have been impressed & grateful to be greeted with such efforts on my behalf.

You carry on making your home how you want it, safe in the knowledge that although they may have more 'stuff' than you, their houses will be emotionally empty where yours is full.

How rude. Bring them here! I don't do Tidying Up for VIPs. They can pig it like the rest of us!

so on their next Royal Visit do not do anything, no cleaning, no food, no dusting, no nothing (opps, double negative) - if they hate it they won't visit again - bonus

What a disgusting attitude to take with you after you welcome them into your home, cook for them and accept them for them and their flaws. I hope you told em where the door is and made sure it hit them on the way out. I'd rather have a home than a house any day if they came round here i'd get my cat to sit on them so they could pick fur of themselves for the next year.
