Well this year OH & I will spend the early part of the evening on the sofa watching England (hopefully) beat Wales at rugby and then I will cook us a romantic dinner. Gifts & cards will be exchanged, but have to admit I'm struggling as to what to get her this year, any ideas gratefully received ladies.

I would love it if my OH bought me some pretty jewellery, but he has never, ever bought me any in the nearly 16 years we've been together... Not even an engagement ring or my wedding ring - they were both inherited off my Nana

We live 200 miles away from family and don't have anyone nearby that we trust enough to look after our kids.

So we will probably just have another quiet night in, then an early night (not that kind of early night though, just early because I have to be up at 6am to work).

Last year, there was a heart shaped chocolate on my desk and one of the girls said she put it there. I stuck it up on my divider wall and it was there for ages untill she asked me why it was there.

I told her it was the first Valentine's gift I've ever had, to which she said "no I had a load of them and thought I'd share them out". Oh how I wished she had kept her mouth shut.

How very sad am I?

Your time will come, I never got one until i met my hubby, all the girsl at school got one but because I wasnt pretty enough i didnt get a lookin..........it will happen, besides I always look at valentines as a day people make money, CUPID can occur at anytime xxx
