      I don't want a photo one

Can they make me get one before I'm seventy?

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Tootles, trust me on this you don't actually HAVE to change it despite what the G men may tell you.

If you paid/pay the fine within 14 days, you don't have to change it, for the 1 point you incurred - assuming that you speed wasn't so far over the top that they want you to change your licence rather than suspend it and it was ONLY 1 point.

I have a French licence because I use it like an ID card - although the UK/Euro licence is perfectly valid in France despite what the constabulary may tell you, it does have an out of date address on it (European Convention on it allows this anomoly) and as I don't have a French ID card yet, the licence works for me.

But for one point, fine paid within 14 days and not too high a speed, no need to change your licence.

I can't even remember the colour of mine.I had such a hard time trying to get it that when I finally got it I wanted to hurl it out of the window.
Got used to driving now,but still avoid it whenever I can(I'm not a driving type at all)

              Tootles,
Tony is exactly right, providing your speed wasnt excessive.
Sadly I have a French one, after my Lewis Hamiltonesque sprint up to the airport to collect a child, when I mistook the time of arrival of plane.
3 points for me, thus no option but to get a French one. Nice and pink it is too.
Most unimpressed, however the system itself to change over was very painless and free, which goes totally against the grain of almost all other Frenchness I have come across.

Thanks Boble and Tony - but this isn't the first point.....
(last time it was much simpler to take it myself than appeal and have it put on Mr T's - won't ruddy well do that agin!)

Mine's a paper one with an out-of-date address on it! I don't really want a photo one but I suppose I should get one really, it'll remove the points I got in 2003 at least.

Still a green paper one here. No plans to change it - unless I got snapped the other day and have to send it in to have points added. (Sheer laziness - just following the car in front's speed - stoopid!)

It wasn't actually lost- but somewhere very, very safe!!!!
