Could I take up your kind offer of patterns please Jackie - lots of mine seem to have gone missing over the years. I can send you some stamps if you like.

She can tell ME off - I spragged!
Anyway - I think an extra hat is above and beyond the call of duty. It deserves recognition.

And there I was about to take the credit, one small problem with that in as much as I can't actually knit lol. So my next year's secret santa will be disappointed if hoping for a homemade hat!

What a lovely thing to do Shirl. I'm sure your mum will appreciate that hat Flummery.

She did Alice - I took it round to her on my way to T'ai Chi - both in the village so no problem with the snow.
She was thrilled to little mint balls Shirley! She wanted to know how much she owed for it (something of a generation thing I think - she's always asking me if she owes me anything) so I said it was s present from the lady who had given me the original (which I was wearing!)
She said she's going to pose in it all afternoon! Her final remark as I left was "Please thank your friend again. I was so envious of yours - and I hate to commit a sin!"

                      A big hit there then!

Just read this thread and it made me smile - what a very generous act. Flum's mum will be nice and toasty in her new hat and just in time for the Russian snow.
