  • Aren't grapes lovely?

My Secret Santa sent me a fabulous hand-knit arran patterned hat for Christmas and my mum has asked me loads of times (she forgets she's already asked!) where I got it. I tell her, but she'd not sure what the internet involves, let alone a forum so friendly that you send each other things! She has said a couple of times that she hopes I forget to take it home.

I must have mentioned this, because this morning, trudging through the snow, the postman brought me - ANOTHER HAT! - labelled "For Flum's Mum".

You know who you are (I have some suspicions) and if you want to come forward and 'fess up', you will get much public thanks. You're a real, generous friend.

So, PW - this is a HAPPY THREAD! And thanks to all generous grapes who pass on good deeds and spread a little (or even a lot of) happiness!

    Flum

'twere nowt really, I can knit, I had the pattern and the wool and Flum looked like a lady who would appreciate a woolly hat (no offence intended Flummery). When she said her mum fancied the hat it was no trouble at all to make another. Still have some of the wool left if anyone wants to place orders

Shirley, that is truly a lovely thing to do but then, I know what a kind person you are - after all, you have helped me make my cow hide into gloves

Flummery, when you posted this, my first thought was, "what goes around, comes around" I well remember mentioning that I can't get Oates-So-Simple and lo and behold a parcel arrived from you with 6 packets in. Since then, I have had many presents of seeds from you so - give yourself a pat on the back 'cause you too are a lovely Grape
