A strapping young man, weighing in at a whopping 7lb 9oz is predicted by Leponge, to arrive the morning of the 14th April.
Wish you all the best, and if Mr PC doesnt cry, he's a tougher man than me.

bobleponge mr pc didnt cry at our first born, just kept trying to make me laugh during contractions which beleive me was far less than funny and ate all the snacks id packed out of bordem of waiting for something to happen for several hours. he never cried when the 4 he had with wife number one was born either, however there much older now the eldest is 19 this year in a few months he says he may cry if she makes him a grandad before hes 40 as he feels old already and becoming a grandad will confirm it! lol he 37 this year ive just turned 28 so dont fancy the grandma title just yet! even if officially i wouldnt be there grandma theyd get welcomed the same as if i was.. as i tell mr pc my dad was almost 43 when i was born so he isnt old yet.
im shocked how even the predictions are. my family are running a sweep stake too, but just on babies sex. impatient now as really want to meet my baby.

He's a cold man PC. The hospital had to man the lifeboats when my kids appeared.
I was a grandad at 40 and cried again, but not cos I was upset at being a grandad. I love being one so young, its fantastic.

You have got roughly the same age gap between you andMr pc as I have with my OH. His eldest boy just turned 18 and is very keen on girls!!! I don't relish the idea of being a step-granny in my early 30's but if The Boy was to slip up it wouldn't be the end of the world. (we did have a scare in the summer, but that turned out to be his 'mates' winding him up - very successfully, poor lad hid out in the house for a whole day!)
Whilst having my shower after having pickle, I did spot OH wiping a sneaky tear out of his eye when I peeped round the shower curtain!

Your baby, hmmmmmm, let me think

            Boy, 7lb 8oz, after 6 1/2 hr labour.

bobleponge, i do think he was joking about hed cry at being a grandad, but probabley not at the thourght of getting old as his family have had many a health ailment that are very unkind and both his parents died young his mum was only 43. kirsty his kids to wife number one are girl 19 this year boy 17 this year girl 16 this year and girl 13 this year. so not neccessicerily the boy who would make hima grampy. means though baby could very easily either sex as he makes both, and i lost a baby after a road accident before conceiving and having my 4 year old daughter, although we didnt know the sex we think that baby was a boy. really excited now time seems to be going slowley and really excited. mr pc has offered to help with the reusable nappies im going to use and to help wash them, if he does il cry, took him 10 months before he changed our daughters first nappy. all the best pc

                      percy charlie week 40 update.

due date today but nothing except backache, had a sweep today but wasnt sucessfull, so just waiting baby now settled head down but just resting in the brim so not engaged but normal for second babys apparently. many of you who had a prediction, the date has passed, if you want another go feel free i would like to see who gets closest on babys sex weight and birth date. the ones left in the running are sue a, squashysu, shazull, ailsasyl and bobleponge only 5 of you not a lot of competion.
im very excited now my 4 year old keeps asking baby to hurry up, oh wants his 2 weeks off work so he can rotavate the lottie and paint the shed at home as well as doing some bits on the car.
i feel big enough to pop, and have really bad swelling, i keep feeling a little unwell but then have really good days where i feel great, keep trying to rest ready for the big event so i have enough energy.
i will let you all know what i have, and who gets closest on the predictions.
take care everyone as this maybe my last post for a week or 2 but ive arranged for a friend to update babys birth details on my behalf until i can get on to give a proper update. all the best pc

Hope it all goes smoothly and that the wait is soon over. Our second was over a fortnight overdue and I was well and truly fed up of being pregnant by that point.
