No, poor Piskie, you do not have man-flu.
You have borderline pneumonia and tonsillitis. It is very different. Man-flu is a slight sniffle.
I don't know why women are mean to men - afterall it's too easy, not exactly a fair fight.

my oh must be so boring he doesnt get man flu he doesnt get anything even colds dont like him!
if he does get a sniffle he tells me i dig out the vitamin tablets, a sudafed a parcetamol and a shot of nasal spray and send him to bed early with a hot drink then hes fine either next morning or after 3 hours hes never needed a day of from work for man flu. in nearly 9 years hes has one chest infection, i had to drag him to the doctors after over 3 weeks of coughing.
however he does make up for it by often whinging ott about other things so i guess its compensated. but women do seem to be stronger at coping with illnesses i thinks its our multi tasking ability that helps.

hope you feel better soon piskie, lots of honey for you as soothing and a natural aticeptic and can take plenty of this as wont affect other medcines, just a teaspoon whenever required. wont cure but will help the pain coughing causes in the throat.

Well I was incredibly kind to Andi yesterday...he had atooth abscess...& God I know how they hurt!!!....admittedly my being kind was to send him back to bed with some painkillers to get him out from under my feet
