SD is away until late night so fingers crossed they won't expire under there - but, yep, I am worried
*sobs
String girl string...get a ball of string, you need to play the chase game. Very soft movements by you, lots of gentle voices, lay on the floor and make eye contact with them, talk to them, it all takes time.
Update on the girls:
Kitten that was Tammy is the braver of the two, she ventured out around 1630hrs yesterday and we had some lovely bonding time, she was just so sweet. We have now renamed her Cass, she needs a short strongish name and as they were only called Callie and Tammy just three weeks ago and don’t really respond now is the time to rename.
Kitten that was Callie is so very very timid and won’t venture out at all, she hides under the sofa all the time, therefore she isn’t eating, drinking, weeing etc – major worry. However, I do believe she ventured out last night when we were in bed as some food had gone. But still she remains under the sofa and at the moment nameless
Personally, i would not put food and drink near her hiding place, she will never venture out then, the best thing for her is to see her sister getting on and responding well to interaction with people, she will come out to eat and wee, it just takes her longer before she gets too desperate.
I agree Seasprout - food is in the same room but not too close.
However, during my desparate stage yesteday I opened a tin of tuna and lying face down on the floor was putting bits of it next to their noses. It worked with Cass (aka Tammy) she ate it but didn't venture out until a bit later on - but poor old Kitten Yet To Be Named (aka Callie) wouldn't touch it and just turned away from me.
Cass was out with SD and I this morning for a little while, she is back in hiding now - but she does appear to have come around. Fingers crossed this will help KYTBN
arrr piskie they sound cute and cuddly - my sisters were just the same and still are, one more lovely and one that does a runner whenever we go to my mums (she has them now as sis in NZ)
hey call the other one Heidi as she is always hiding lol!
Arr enjoy and i bet they love the tuna with their new mummy, you will spoil them you know lol x
Cass came out at lunchtime and ate, played etc with SD and I then out came Cleo (kitten that has now been named) - she was also eating, using tray etc and watching all the fun - but keeping her distance.
Most Excellent
SD managed to take some footage so I will get him to do me some stills off of that

Nice one, Pisk!
They are a worry, aren't they? When Domino was tiny he had ear mites and despite ear drops from the vet went and hid round the back of the lagged hot water cyclinder, being really miserable. I was frantic at the time!
Even when cats are a little older it can take them time to adjust! My Ramsey is the quiet retiring type. She prefers to hide away from the others most of the time. Apart from a couple of years when she, her Mum Blaze and her Auntie Smudge lived with my daughter, I have had Ramsey since she was first born! Actually she was born on top of me! lol Blaze her mum was only young when she had Ramsey, Blaze has always been a Mummy's girl so decided that it was ok to wake me up and sit on me at 5am one morning to give birth! Ahh bless
Ramsey was unsettled for a while after coming back to me, she lived at the top of the stairs for a while. The others were glad to be home again; they settled straight back into their old routine! Ramsey was fine after a while! She is just more like her auntie Smudge prefers the quiet life but is also a very loving cat! She likes her late night cuddles at bedtime with me!
