The place I worked put in all Metric but everything we took out was AF and W....that was in 79. My Uncle still works there and its still the same.

Until I was made redundant in 1995 I worked in the stores at Brush Transformers in the stores in the bit that kept the nuts & bolts Etc.
The amount of stuff we used was mind blowing for instance up to half a million M10 full nuts a year.
