He has just popped in with 2 bottles of very expensive wine to ask if we could keep an eye on his place while he goes to S Africa (28degrees there, jealous, me - never) for 3 weeks.

I was so surprised, would have looked out for him without any wine!

Mind you, he does often get a couple of my chickens offerings, so maybe what goes around comes around.

Off to hide the posh wine fro OH who will sup it like cheap plonk lol.

Yeah, there are loads of nice people about. It's a pity they are so much less conspicuous than the other sort.......

I have lovely neighbours too...i feed their cats when they go away and they look after my one cat and my three chickens when we go away and always bring me something like chocolates as a gift .....we are taking them out for a meal next week as a thankyou for looking after said chicks/cat over Xmas and driving us to station and back.
But more importantly ...THEY ARE PUTTING IN A SWIMMING POOL THIS YEAR ...which we can use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
