OMG..did you buy it over here? - have you got the receipt and original packaging- and remember where you bought it from????

Hopefully it was the UK and you can swap it when you're next over????...do you have a back up - or is it still usable????

No, I didn't buy it over here (just as well - have you tried getting a refund/replacement here yet?). In fact I didn't buy it at all, we inherited it with our last house.
I'm not sure it is still useable though, I might try a reverse attempt at the root that bent it in the first place??!

              Just a thought.....

if it's fairly old, it'll probably be of a better quality than the ones you buy now.
How about taking a photo before you straighten it- and e-mail them with a letter of complaint ( head office of Spear and Jackson)..tell them it's not fit for the purpose- even though it's not within warrenty...they may be able to do something for you!
To be honest- it MUST be faulty if it's bent- otherwise they wouldn't have declared it to be unbendable! ..give it a go!

Tootles, I've got a similar problem with exactly the same make and model, stainless steel jobbie.

Mine's going to the local blacksmith to see if he can sort it. If I put one of the tines out of shape on the other forks I have I do it myself, club hammer over a nice soft log.

As long as your tongue is sharper than the forks.

Mine bent too (on a bramble root) ... I took it back to Asda from whence it came, and got a refund.

I had one of their hand forks. One spear is now buried somewhere in the garden as it broke off. Never did find it. A 2 pronged handfork works almost as well lol
