Oh dear, I well and truly let the side down, last night. I didn't get in until nearly 7:30pm, so it was sausages, beans and two slices off bread, for me!!

PW, have you noticed how the title reads in the thread-list??

      Tonight I shall be eating...PigletWillie.

      Rather you, than me...

Lynda, only the word "even" dissapoints me.

Well Paella got postponed (tomorrow for sure), Hot roast chicken from Waitrose, with hot crusty baguette, at a bargain price. I don't usually buy chicken from the supermarket (and only ever from Waitrose, who have better standards than most) but when we go shopping, and it is 'reduced to clear' it seems silly NOT to buy what may otherwise go to waste.

Brill thread PW and yes you are a dish

Tonight I am gonna make lamb kofta style meatballs to go in a curry, probably Korma as DD doesn't like them too hot, and will be making onion bhajis with a minty turmeric yoghurt, jasmine rice, puppadoms, mango chutney. Sweet will be leftover apple cake made for me by a friend.

As I probably won't be on-line tomorrow.......... Sunday I am attempting crispy Peking Gressingham Duck with pancakes, spring onions, cucumber and hoi-sin sauce with beansprouts, carrots and yellow pepper wrapped in rice paper for dipping. And probably leftover apple cake for sweet.

LOL, we had hot roast chicken - also reduced to clear - from Tesco. Like you, we don't often buy that sort of thing but also can't stand the thought of it going to waste!

Tonight we are having organic, locally produced, beef and chive sausages with garlic made into a casserole and served in giant yorshire puddings.

Think we might have have a curry too. Love Vietnamese ones at the moment, so might do a chicken one, and some rice paper rolls (peanuts, prawns, noodles) and Temple aubergine (hot, limey, roasted and oily) to go alongside. Just need to buy a load of coriander and we're ready to go!

Don't really have puddings, but would like to attempt black sesame ice cream to follow - one of my favourites...
