BLP I hope you noticed that loads of us had stew last night - just to make you feel better - I asked the butcher especially if he had any goat or camel, but he couldn't oblige.

(Slow roast shoulder of lamb this evening - it's been smelling wonderful for the last couple of hours!)
Life is too short for drama & petty things!
So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!

Turkey slices from the Christmas bird - (better to get it out of the freezer when it is appreciated in Feb rather than getting bored with it over the festive season) with roastie potatoes, roasted squash, roasted parsnip and miniscule red cabbage, brussels sprouts tops and leeks. All veg homegrown.

Scrambled egg on toast from eggs from the 'girls' at school, on sunflower seed bread. Simple but my favourite for Sunday tea.

We're having colcannon, bacon and traditional Lincolnshire sausages. Plus a glass or several of something nice for me
They will be brussels sprouts my dear, a local name for them is "nobs", if you buy a whole stem of "nobs" we call it a "nob hanger" as the nobs, well hang on it.

          Have a glass for me?

See, there's really nothing I can say without Zazen banning the pair of us
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom

              Best not risk it eh?

We're having Scottish Blackface Mutton casserole, roasties, carrot and turnip mash, cauliflower and a red onion and mixed pepper flan as veggie option.
Pud - choice of apple or rhubabrb and ginger crumble. Friends coming - we don't usually have choices!

                        • Lincolnshire sausage, pancetta and lentil 'goulash' (so-called 'cos it's got a touch of paprika and spices). Bay leaves and rosemary from garden, no veggies to speak of! We'll either have it with mashed potatoes or rice.

Another layer of snow here so good to fend off the weather!
                          I don't roll on Shabbos

                          • Fridge pizza. Method: take pizza base. Add tomato pizza sauce. Add cheese. Hurl on the entire rest of the contents of the fridge.

Pour a large glass of merlot and scoff

Pork and herb sausages (hand made at our local farm shop) with home made chips, peas (what we grew last year) and eggs (from a neighbour that has hens).
