        • I have had an impromtu dinner invitation, girls only at a mum from school's house. Several of us apparently. As I am mobile less at present no-one could reach me (until some bright spark tried the land line) to tell me what to bring, so I have had no time to prepare a dessert.
I have however just made some nigella fudge for afterwards and hope they will forgive me. It might be a bit gooey but hey ho.

But apart from the fudge I have no idea what I will be eating.

          • Sainsbury's taste-as-good-as-it-looks sausages with wholegrain mustard with homegrown red onion gravy, homegrown parsnip and potato mash served with homegrown kale and shop carrots.

Edit - oops - it's 'taste the difference' sossies - the 'taste-as-good-as-it-looks' is the catfood!!

                      • Allotment lady,
Would love to tell a lie and say yes,
But telling the truth, I buy mine in the local butchers.
I do however have piri piri mix which i bought in the local chinese store.
I cut the chicken in pieces, cook in olive oil until slightly browned. Add garlic, peppers onion, and piri piri mix and cook until chicken is tender.

                              • Just got some nice mince out of freezer. There's a green pepper to use up, and a lime knocking around so I think I'll do a chili.
